Foreign Portfolio Investors have put in Rs 23,544 crore into Indian shares so far in August, marking their second month in a row of buying. This follows Rs 20,200 crore invested in July, a sharp turnaround after four straight months of heavy selling from March through June.
In simple terms, when foreign investors buy more than they sell, it usually reflects growing confidence in India's companies and economy. It is a good reminder that market sentiment can turn around, even after a rough patch, which is exactly why staying invested through the ups and downs tends to work out better than trying to time it.
